Meet Deb Higgins

If you’re looking for a mortgage banker with years of experience and expertise in both the big picture and minutiae of home loans, you’ve found it all in Deb. Being in the industry since 1979, she’s specialized in about every phase of the home loan process, so her education isn’t one-dimensional. Because of this, she puts emphasis on passing knowledge to her clients about what’s going to happen at each step and prepare them for what’s coming in the next 30 or so years with their home loan. She understands that her clients often need flexibility with their loan terms, so her favorite program is the FHA loan program, which works with differing credit scores and less stringent terms. 

Outside of work, Deb enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf and traveling. Her favorite place she’s been to so far is Ireland. 

Q: What does your dream home look like?

A: The one I currently live in - it’s ranch style and I just put in a pool. 

Q: What was one of your first jobs?

A: A cashier at one of the local retail stores.

Q: Where’s the best place for a meal in your area?

A: Our area has a good selection of places to eat, listen to live music and have a meal. We have great Mexican restaurants, an Irish pub, great BBQ, a new Italian restaurant, seafood and steakhouses. Just about anything you want, we’ve got.
